Asia Air Survey CVC Invests in Kea Aerospace, a Developer of Stratospheric HAPS

Tokyo, Japan – Aug. 04, 2026 – Asia Air Survey Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinjuku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Hitoshi Hatakeyama; hereinafter “the Company”) is pleased to announce that it has made an investment in Kea Aerospace Ltd. (Headquarters: New Zealand; CEO: Mark Rocket; hereinafter “Kea Aerospace”).

About Kea Aerospace
Kea Aerospace is developing High Altitude Platform Stations (HAPS) capable of long-endurance flight in the stratosphere powered by solar energy.
Its flagship platform, the “Kea Atmos“, is designed and optimized for aerial observation and surveillance. The system enables a wide range of applications, including high-frequency monitoring of maritime traffic and natural disasters, as well as high-precision land surveying compared to conventional satellite-based solutions.
CEO Mark Rocket is a serial entrepreneur with multiple successful exits and is also a co-founding Director of Rocket Lab, a New Zealand-founded company, now a USA-based company listed on the NASDAQ as Rocket Lab Corporation.
